Hybrid picking is advisable when attempting to play this masterpiece from the 
Swedish gods of new age metal.

Hybrid picking is a technique whereby a pick is used to pluck bass notes while
your other three fingers are used to pluck the other string in a finger picking
manner.

Some parts are actually two guitars, arranged for one.

Key:
        p - pull off from previous note (notes linked by ^)
        b - bend note; notes in brackets indicate the ghost notes (ghost
            notes may be tied by dots, eg b(9)...(8) indicates a bend up 
            to 9 and then down to 8)
        bd- indicates a bend down (refer to ghost notes)
        h - hammer on (notes linked by ^)
        r - rake on indicated strings
        / - slide up (s)
        \ - slide down (s)
