'Nightfall' Revue
Taken from Lykos Zine - September '98
This is a very good demo, has a nice simple
photocopied cover with lyrics. The music is metal
(of course), it's bit hard to get more specific.
Imagine a sort of black/thrash combined with
Dark Tranquility influences with traces of
The Blood Divine at times. The rhythms
are generally pretty fast, quite varied and
very catchy, the vocals vary between raucous
and gutteral and the guitars have an almost
"heavy metal" feeling. Some of the lyrics have
more meaning than I have come to expect
nowadays. More guitar solos would be
nice, apart from that, congratulations Pathogen!
