Firstly though, the latest and best piece of news to come out of the
Pathogen camp in a long time is that we will be supporting none other than
Finland metal gods, IMPALED NAZARENE to be held at
The Grosvenor Back-Room on
Thursday the 22nd of July.

Tue 9th Feb '99
Pathogen have parted ways with drummer and founding member
Gavin Irving, due to personal problems,
but things are not so grim in the drum departmert,
thanks to Mark Boeijen, known well for his work with
Samain and Syntony, who is the latest addition to our ranks.

Sun 24th Jan '99
The position of bass player was filled by none other than
Dave Sandstrom, ex Pathogen guitarist.
It is a great pleasure to have Dave back in the band, and the finishing touches
are being put on the new material for the forthcoming new release
to be entitled "Fallen Kind"

Sat 21st Nov '98
Guitarist Dave Sandstrom and bassist Louis Dunstan chose to
leave the band. Dave left to persue his own personal musical interests
whilst Louis left due to personal differences between himself and other bandmembers.
Althought this is a sad loss, it will by no means signal the end of Pathogen. Musical virtuoso, Adam Ferguson, has already filled the position as second guitarist and will mark a new level of evolution within Pathogen's music, not only as a musician but mainly as a songwriter/arranger. Pathogen are now searching for their fifth bass player.

Sat 27th June '98
Four months after the loss of vocalist Timothy Floppy Paterson,
Pathogen have finally found a new vocalist.  He goes by the name of
Justin Norton and rehearsals will commence immediately for a performance at
West Australia's 'Kiss My WAMI' Metal Showcase Concert.

Sat 4th April '98
Aidan, guitarist for Pathogen, fell down a stair/ladder thing.
Injuries include several meaty stitches, severe concussion and a
compound fracture of the skull!  Luckily, the large amount of
blood lost during this incident prevented permanent brain damage.
Rehearsals have been cancelled for the next few weeks.

Fri 13th February '98
After the succes of their 'Nightfall' demo launch,
Pathogen Vocalist Timothy Laing Paterson annonced that he
no longer wished to continue fronting the band.
His presence will be missed sincerely but the remaining four
members of the band have no wish to waste what has taken two
and a half years to create and are looking to undertake a new
vocalist as soon as possible.

Sun 22nd June '97
Pathogen step into Bergerk Studios to record the 'Nightfall' demo
with the help of engineer Al Smith, the man behind the 'Tyranny of Hatred' demo

Sat 17th August '96
Pissed cunt Dave Sandstrom stumbles up to us after a gig sayin'
'ah! Yaz want another second guitarist......eh!?!?!'
He was big...So we said yeah! Returning to our original format as a five piece.
This later resulted in recruitment of new bass player Louis Dunstan,

Fri 4th May '96
Bass player Phil Norman, leaves Pathogen. His cheese laden,
porno style, fretless bass antics will be sorely missed.
New bass man Mark Rodregez will fill the new position.

Sat 17th February '96
Pathogen step into the studio to record their first release
'Tyranny of Hatred', under the guidence of Al Smith of
'Death Rooster Productions'. The recording ran smoothly,
despite attempts by parents to prevent this recording from happening
due to upcoming tertiary examination commitments.  -(heh!)

Sat 30th September '95
Pathogen make their first stage appearance for the
'Breakdown High School Band Comp'.  We complete sucked and
came dead last out of all the bands who performed.
Rhythm guitarist Jon Cuypers also decided to leave soon after.

Sat 29th July '95
Pathogen was born
On this day three 15 year olds started a band called Pathogen
The three founding members, Gavin Irving, Tim Paterson and Aidan Barton,
managed to throw together  a quick song entitled 'Denigate',
and then enjoyed a night of laughs and sheer insanity which will
forever be the turning point of anyone whose life has or will be influenced
in any way by Pathogen.
